CATERPILLAR Excavator Fault Code

Author:Swafly Views: Time:2024-09-06 11:16:22

Carterpillar Excavator fault code is used to diagnose and solve various problems in the operation of the excavator code. These codes are displayed on the excavator's display in a specific format to help the operator or maintenance personnel quickly locate the problem. The following are common fault codes for Carter excavators and their meanings: ‌

1‌‌, CID94FMI002‌ : Abnormal signal of fuel pressure after filtration.

2‌‌, CID94FMI03‌ : fuel pressure after filtration electrical pressure higher than normal value (open the positive electrode of the battery).

‌‌3, CID94FMI13‌ : Fuel pressure deviation after filtration.

‌‌4, CID100FMI02‌ : Incorrect engine oil pressure signal after filtration (out of range).

‌5, CID100FMI03‌ : The pressure and voltage of the engine oil after filtration is higher than the normal value (open/short circuit of the positive battery).

‌‌6, CID100FMI04‌ : The pressure and voltage of the engine oil after filtration is lower than normal value (short circuit to the ground).

‌7, CID100FMI13‌ : Engine oil pressure deviation after filtration (out of range).

8‌, CID101FMI03‌ : crankcase pressure voltage is higher than normal (open/short circuit of positive battery).

‌9, CID101FMI04‌ : crankcase pressure voltage lower than normal (short circuit to ground).

‌10, CID101FMI13‌ : crankcase pressure deviation indicator.

‌‌11, CID110FMI04‌ : Coolant temperature and voltage lower than normal (short circuit to ground).

‌12, CID110FMI03‌ : Coolant temperature and voltage higher than normal (open the positive electrode of the battery).

‌13, CID168FMI00‌ : The battery voltage is higher than the normal range.

‌‌14, CID168FMI01‌ : The battery voltage is lower than the normal range.

‌15, CID168FMI02‌ : Incorrect battery voltage signal (voltage interruption or random).

‌16, CID190FMI02‌ : High voltage of the engine main speed/timing sensor is higher than normal (open to the battery).

These fault codes cover problems with the fuel system, engine oil pressure, crankcase pressure, coolant temperature, and battery voltage. When the excavator fails, the operator can quickly locate the problem and make a preliminary diagnosis by reading these codes, combined with the alarm icon displayed by the excavator's self-test function. Subsequently, the operator or maintenance personnel can take appropriate measures to repair or seek professional technical support according to the specific content of the fault code to ensure that the excavator can resume normal operation as soon as possible.
