Description:
A Lip-type seal is designed to prevent the leakage of fluids, such as oil or hydraulic fluid, from the pump housing or shaft. It has a cylindrical shape with a lip or edge that faces inward toward the shaft or housing that needs to be sealed. Once it is installed, the lip comes into contact with the rotating shaft, forming a dynamic seal. The contact between the lip and the shaft creates a barrier that prevents fluid from escaping or entering the sealed area.
