Description:
A Hydraulic Brake Accumulator is designed to maintain a constant pressure in the brake unit, which helps to improve the response time and consistency of the brakes. The accumulator also provides a backup source of hydraulic pressure in the event of a failure in the main hydraulic unit. The accumulator is typically a cylindrical container that contains a flexible diaphragm or a piston, which separates the hydraulic fluid from a pressurized gas, such as dry nitrogen. It has maximum operating pressure is 25000 kPa.
Attributes:
• Provides a backup braking unit and increases the braking unit safety.
• Dry nitrogen is an inert gas that is non-reactive with brake unit components and hydraulic brake fluid.
• Reduces the risk of corrosion and contamination within the brake unit.
Applications:
A Hydraulic Brake Accumulator is a device used in a hydraulic brake unit to store and supply pressurized fluid to the brake unit, mostly used in Cat 16, 16M, 18, and 18M Motor Graders, 539 Tree Harvesters, 6015, and 6015B Excavators, 824, 824G, 824H, 824K, 834G, 834H and 834K Wheel Type Tractors, 825, 825G, 825H, 825K, 826, 826G, 826H, 826K, 836, 836G, 836H and 836K Compactors, 834, 980G, 980H, 980K, 986, 986H, 986K, 988, 988G, 988H, 988K, R1300, R1300G and R1700G Wheel Loaders, AD30, AD45B, AD55 and AD55B Trucks, AD60 Articulated Trucks, TR35 and TR43 Powertrain
