Description:
A Piston Ring is a small circular metal ring that is installed around the circumference of the piston rod that seals the combustion chamber and regulates oil consumption. It is typically made from grey cast iron and designed to fit tightly against the cylinder wall while regulating the amount of oil used to lubricate the piston's up-and-down motion.
