The Precleaner Body is cylindrical in shape and contains a series of baffles or vanes that cause the incoming air to change direction rapidly, forcing heavier particles to separate from the air stream and fall into a collection chamber at the bottom of the precleaner body. It is placed in between the precleaner cup and primary element using lower and upper clamps.
