A Wear Ring, also known as a Guide Ring, is designed to guide the piston and piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder, absorbing transverse or radial forces. This helps to prevent metal-to-metal contact between the moving parts of the cylinder, such as between the piston and the cylinder or the rod and the cylinder head.
