A Pump Barrel Piston is used to draw in hydraulic fluid, compress it, and then expel it under pressure to create hydraulic power. The Piston moves back and forth within the barrel, creating a vacuum on one stroke and compressing hydraulic fluid on the other. The Piston divides the cylinder barrel into two fluid chambers called the suction chamber and the discharge chamber.
