Description:
A Piston Ring is a small circular metal ring that is located below the top piston ring and is responsible for regulating oil consumption. It is typically made from grey cast iron and slightly thicker than other rings with a stepped profile and prevents the oil from entering the combustion chamber.
Attributes:
• Offers good wear resistance.
• Ends of the piston rings are chamfered at 0.2mm to reduce the risk of damage.
• Consistent with the engine's operational temperature range during the piston movement.
Applications:
A Piston Ring act as a seal between piston and the cylinder wall, mostly used in Cat 24H Motor Graders, 3406, 3408, 3408B, 3408C, 3408E, 3412, 3412C, 3412E, CG137-8, G3406, G3406C, G3408, G3408C, G3412, and G3412C Engine (Piston), 3408B, 3408C, 3412, 3412C, CG137-8, G3406, G3408, G3408C, G3412, G3412C and PM3412 Generator Set, 5100X, 5110 and 5110B Excavators, 589, 589X and 591 Pipelayers, 631C, 631D, 631E, 631F, 631G, 633D, 633E, 633G, 637D, 637E, 637F, 637G, 639D, 639E, 651B, 651E, 657B and 657E Wheel Tractor-Scrapers, 631E, 631G, 637E, 637G, 651E, 657E and 657F Scraper, 69D, 73D, 768C, 768D, 769, 769B, 769C, 769D, 771C, 771D, 772B, 772D, 773, 773B, 773D, 773E, 775B, 775D, 775E, AD40, AD45 and AE40 Trucks, 772 Wagon, 834B and 844 Wheel Type Tractors, 836 Compactors, 910, 966G, 988B, 988F, 990, 992C and 992D Wheel Loaders, C15 and G3406 Power Systems, C15 & C27 Engine-General Platform, D10N, D10R, D8L, D9, D9L, D9N, D9R and D9T Track Type Tractors, D44B and D550B Articulated Trucks, PM-565, PM-565B, PR-1000, PR-1000C, PR-450C, PR-750B and PR-750C Paving Equipment, SCT673, SPS342 and SPT342 Pumper, Cement Trucks, TR53 Powertrain.
