A Flanged Sleeve Bearing is a sliding contact bearing with a flange at one end extending radially outward from the outside diameter. The Flanged Sleeve Bearings have a flange integral with the outer ring to axially constrain the bearing which helps to reduce mounting complexity and cost. The oil grooves are cut into the bearing surfaces which act as oil reservoirs to hold and distribute the oil between the rubbing surfaces. This Flanged Sleeve Bearing is placed in the bucket joint assembly to provide smooth operation bucket.
Attributes:
• Thin wall construction prevents excessive heat build-up that could cause bearing failure
• Provided with an 8mm diameter hole with 12.5 depth.
• Designed to minimize friction between the shaft and the bearing surface
• Possesses high shock load resistance, minimizes vibration
Applications:
A Flanged Sleeve Bearing is used inside the bucket to hold the bucket in and provide a support adjuster bucket, generally used to reduce the friction between the moving parts.
