Product Details

The Rod Bearing supports, guides, and connects the connecting rods to the crankshaft, which move against each other. In this way, the linear stroke movements of the piston and connecting rod can be translated into the circular rotary movements of the crankshaft. The connecting rod bearing is a split-sleeve type of bearing i.e. it has two separate semi-circular halves or shelves that keep the crankshaft and connecting rod in place as they rotate.
