The Kit Thumb Cylinder Seal consists of O-ring seals, backup rings, a U-cup seal, wear rings, a buffer seal assembly, a piston ring, a seal assembly, and a wiper seal. The O-ring seals create a reliable and leak-free seal, the backup ring helps to prevent extrusion of the O-ring seals under high pressure, the U-cup seal prevents hydraulic fluid from bypassing the seal, the piston ring creates a seal between the piston and the cylinder wall, the buffer seal absorbs shock loads, reducing wear and tear, the wiper seal prevents the contaminants from entering, and wear rings help to minimize friction.
